Meet Largo! Largo is a 23 year old female Double Yellow Headed Amazon. She is quite the conversationalist. She will say "Hey Largo, Hi, Huh, Oh Yeah, Hello and OK. She will whisper when whispered to. She can cry like a real baby and sing some opera as well. She likes to flap and exercise her wings while a person holds on to her feet. She will give kisses. She is not fond of being touched or skritches but she will tolerate a little bit if she is on a lap or held close. Amazons can get loud at times and would not do well in an apartment.

Adoptions are not 'first come, first served'; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.    We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, ND.

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
