My name is Baxter! I am an 17 year old Double Yellow-headed Amazon. I will need a home with larger parrot experience. I can be nippy but I also can be a hoot if you give me a chance. I like being misted but I love showers more.  I will sing and whistle in the shower. If you say "Hi" to me I will hang upside down and sometimes say it back to you. I am a one person bird. I like apples, oranges, peppers, cucumbers. My favorite foods are almonds and walnuts. I love rope and bell type toys. I will need lots of wood toys to chew up to keep me from chewing up furniture legs. 

Note: We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, North Dakota. A pre-adoption home visit by a member of our adoption committee is required for every adoption. Adoptions are not first come, first served; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.
