My name is Dusty! I am a 20 plus year old Goffins Cockatoo. I am primarily a man's bird and happiest with a man but I do great with women and I do tolerate older children (ages 11yrs and up). I am a very active high energy parrot with chewing wood, shredding other toys and throwing food. I love hopping and flying around the house. I will need a large cage and plenty of toys to keep me busy and happy. I can not go in to a home with other parrots because I don't like to share and I get pretty jealous and won't hesitate to attack or dive bomb other parrots. I am extremely loud sometimes so an apartment will not be the place for me. Note: We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, North Dakota. A pre-adoption home visit by a member of our adoption committee is required for every adoption. Adoptions are not first come, first served; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.
