My name is Rico. I am 27 plus years old. I am a Blue-fronted crossed with a Mexican Red-headed Amazon. I will step up off of a floor, counter or from person to person. It is a little harder to get me off of or out of my cage. I will take treats from just about anyone. I love watching parrot videos on YouTube. Especially one called Lillian and Pancho. I did ok around one child in the past but it has been a very long time since I've been around children. I can be loud so apartment life is not suitable for me.

Adoptions are not 'first come, first served'; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.    We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, ND. 

A pre-adoption, home visit by a member of our Adoption Committee is required for every adoption.   To review our Adoption Process, please click here.   

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
