Meet Hammie, a Quaker Parakeet! Like most Quakers, he can get a little cage aggressive, but once out and away from the cage, he is very nice and loves to play. Hammie will step up, but he loves to fly out of his cage and onto the ground first. He is a goofy bird! Hammie loves to curl up inside of your shirt and cuddle. He also loves playing with his toys, especially ones with bells! If you are interested in Hammie or Pixie or both contact the Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue and Education. Note: We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, North Dakota. A pre-adoption home visit by a member of our adoption committee is required for every adoption.
